"La
Petite Maison" is a luxury 2 bedroom, French style house located on a
quaint, tree-lined street in the safe and upscale residential
neighborhood of Palermo Hollywood. It is in an excellent location that
is a short walk to many of the city\\'s best restaurants, cafes and
shopping, and enjoys easy access to public transport. In a local
vacation rental market that is saturated by modern apartments (that
could feel like anywhere), we offer guests something truly unique - a
beautiful and secure restored HOUSE with all the charm and character
that Buenos Aires is famed for. The house is fully renovated and
decorated to a high standard and equipped with all modern conveniences.
It is compact enough for a couple, but works equally well for groups of
up to 5 people (there is an optional 3rd bedroom with sofabed). In
addition, the house is family managed so we ensure guests receive
personal support and service throughout their stay. The photos are an
accurate reflection of what you experience - in fact most guests tell us

We
offer more than just the keys to a beautiful house in a great location.
Our house is managed by an English-speaking family member and we can
assist you with tips on restaurants and places to visit while you are
planning your trip. Nora, our lovely house manager, will be on hand
throughout your stay to assist as needed - be it house matters, making
reservations, booking transport, etc. She enjoys meeting guests from all
over the world and seeks to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Past guests often comment that it is her that makes their stay so
enjoyable!

The
house is located in the heart of upscale Palermo Hollywood, so named
after the development of many audio visual companies in the area,
including TV channels, advertising and feature film production
companies. It is also home to many of the best restaurants and cafes in
the city. Our house is a short walk away from most and we are spoiled
for choice. If you\\'re a foodie, then you\\'ll love our location. The busier shopping
and nightclub area of Palermo Soho is an easy 10-15 minute walk or 5
minute taxi ride. There are several small supermarkets in the area and
the closest is just a couple of doors down from the house, about 15
metres away.

You
can cover a lot of ground on foot from the house. There is plenty to
see in and around broader Palermo and its surrounds. But if your feet
get sore, or as you prefer, taxis are ubiquitous, relatively cheap and
an easy way to get around the town. You may flag them down on just about
every corner or call a "radio taxi" from the house. To get into the
city historical center, business and theatre district, the subway
("Subte") is the quickest and most efficient way. The Subte (Line D) is
only 400m away at the end of the street. The last stop of the line will
take you to San Telmo, the beautiful colonial area of Buenos Aires and
home of tango.

A
great way to get your bearings in the city when you arrive is to take
the BA open top hop-on/hop-off bus. It stops at all the major tourist
attractions. There is a stop in Palermo park, a short taxi ride from the
house.

Other
features include: optional 3rd bedroom with sofabed; free WiFi
(wireless internet); a local cell phone for guests\\' use (guests pay for
credit as needed); cable TV with HD; DVD/CD; sun lounges on terrace;
private dining patio; \\'parrilla\\' (traditional Argentine grill/BBQ); maid
service once a week for bookings of 7 nights or more; washing machine;
air conditioning; back-to-base alarm system; and a safe. There are three
small supermarkets 5 minutes walk from the house that have most
essentials needed. From January 2016 a new supermarket opened 30mts away
from the doorstep. Transportation access is excellent with the subway
(Subte) 5 minutes walk, taxis plentiful and buses just a couple of
blocks away.
